I’ve been working in the non-profit sector for 30 years leading and working with paid and volunteer personnel.  I’m a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in business management and management information systems.  I also have graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages.  In addition to my formal education, I have extensive experience with professional audio, video, and lighting systems and leading these types of professionals.  Finally, I'm also a music professional who plays piano, keyboards, and Hammond organ.

I came across John Maxwell in 1995 when I was working at my first position after my undergraduate degree.  I was looking for leadership training and principles to help me as part of a personal continuing education program.  John’s speaking and books encouraged and equipped me to take my leadership to the next level.  Later on when I was challenged to begin a new leadership training organization at my church, a friend told me about the John Maxwell Team.  I enthusiastically joined, was trained, and now enjoy adding value to others to help them achieve their goals.
