Since August 2013, Shavonne Morain, MPA, CPC, has been a Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker. Shavonne is doctoral candidate and is well-equipped to offer you training and development workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, to support your personal and professional development goals, as well as your organizational needs. Included in Shavonne's offerings are the practical application of John's proven leadersip methods and programs Shavonne has developed through her years of experience. 

Prior to joining the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Shavonne served as chief of staff for the Ohio Academic Resource Network (OARnet), an affiliated entity of The Ohio State University. She worked closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the vision, mission, and values of The Ohio State University and the technology infrastructure vision for the University Systems of Ohio. At the university level, Shavonne was appointed to serve on the Culture Transformation Steering Committee, set in motion by Senn Delaney’s culture-shaping retreats. Shavonne also served on the University Staff Advisory Committee, as an advocate for staff and advisor to the President and senior leadership, recommending solutions for career development and performance management.

Shavonne has used her experience as a coach, speaker, and trainer to develop programs for the U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in conjunction with National Programming Agencies, Global North Texas, and Global Ties U.S. Shavonne has also developed fee-for-service programs sponsored by Congress. The compilaton of these programs allowed delegates from around the world to convene in Dallas-Fort Worth and meet with their professional counterparts for shared learning.
