I have an extensive career in corporate finance and business administration to provide bookkeeping services, leadership training, staff development, personal & professional coaching, and entrepreneurship mentoring. Having served decades in finance roles with various corporations, I have developed the mind of an accountant, a project manager, and a procurement director, along with identifying the void of confidence and classism among coworkers, thus sparking her adventure into coaching and mentorship!
While working as a Finance Manager for Monogram Foods, I was tapped to direct the fundraising efforts of the Monogram Loves Kids Foundation, raising over 15 million dollars for children’s charities in the communities in which Monogram Foods operates. I am certified in several areas critical to giving people a vision for changing their lives for the better. As a Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer & Speaker, I lead masterminds, lunch & learns, and love creating opportunities to be the mirror in other’s lives so they too can see just how incredible they are to society! I am also a certified Trainer through Aha Process! Bridges Out of Poverty, Certified Facilitator through Aha Process for the Getting Ahead Series (Getting Ahead in a ‘Just Getting by’ World, Getting Ahead While Getting Out, Getting Ahead in the Workplace), Certified Trauma Response Organization Rep through Building Strong Brains Tennessee. My heart as a leader has always been focused on impact. More than any other charitable organization in Memphis, I saw Refuge Memphis DOING the desperately needed work. It genuinely DELIVERS on the promise to help, not just to identify the need, not only to raise funds but also to take action from start to finish. As executive director, I have written financial literacy curriculum and authored two e-books, “Passion & Purpose: How to Fuel the Fire to Fulfill Your Purpose,” available through Amazon now, and “The Strength Within Called Resilience,” set to release late July 2022. She also has two online courses, Overcoming Obstacles: Destination GREATNESS! And Get Out of Your Way! Crushing Limiting Beliefs available through Refuge-Memphis.org membership.
