In addition to being a John Maxwell Team certified member, I’m also a senior leader at a leading global technology systems integrator.  I’m responsible for the Customer Experience solutions that we offer our clients and I have the privilege of contributing towards our Customer Experience (CX) story. I have over 35 years of experience in contact centers and customer experience.

I believe that the success of organizations of all sizes is largely determined by its leaders’ willingness to personally grow as leaders. Across the board, companies are faced with significant changes, driven by new technologies. Markets are changing and business models are becoming redundant as new technology-rich startups start to threaten and disrupt traditional companies. Most of us have heard of this change being referred to as “Digital Transformation”.

Transformation means the total restructure of the company right down to the roles of individuals and teams. In many cases skills are becoming obsolete and in some cases total business models will need to be adapted and changed for companies to remain competitive.

The experience that I’ve had in working with organizations across the globe and being exposed to some of the most successful transformation projects has allowed me to identify the significant importance that strong leadership plays within these transformations. I will go so far as to say that without strong leadership, based on fundamental principles like those taught by John Maxwell, transformation will not be nearly as successful as when Leadership principles are at the core of the change.
