Melanie is the Founder and CEO of Melanie Smith Coaching & Consulting. Equipped with over eleven years of corporate HR experience in both management and recruiting, and has advised hundreds of professionals across industries like hospitality, administration, retail, transportation, warehousing, call center and customer service in job placements, developing resumes and personalized career strategies that stand out in today's market. In addition to resume writing and job search coaching, she’s an ebook author of "How to Write a Winning Resume That Open Doors". 

Melanie uses her natural talent to connect with others, and her coaching skills to make an impact in the career development field. This experience has allowed her to develop relationships in a variety of fields and industries, giving her valuable insight into the corporate world. She was recognized in 2015 by Turks & Caicos Islands Government, Immigration Board for honorable mention & leadership award, and Turks & Caicos Hotel Association as fan favorite of the year.  Melanie serves as the Director of the Women’s Ministry of Abundant Life Ministries International, and as Board member for several non-profit and civic organizations.  

Melanie is also the Founder and CEO of Turks & Caicos Recruitment Group, with a proven track record of building professional long lasting relationships, while helping individuals discover the perfect role. Her passion for helping to enable others to realize their personal and professional goals has led her to join the John Maxwell Team.

When she’s not living her life’s passion, she enjoys baking cookies and spending quality time connecting with her adult children whom she refers to as her best friends, and her adorable granddaughter Faith.
