It is a priviledge to introduce myself to you. Becoming s a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker is a recent milestone for me on my nearly 50 year long leadership journey. 

I have been fortunate to have had two wonderful careers.  Firstly, I was an infantry officer in the British Army, and then for ten years a paratrooper in the Australian Army.  My leadership journey really began at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst; shortly afterwards, and then for the next 15 years I was making life and death decisions over the lives of young soldiers. This experience subsequently served me well as I moved into a 25 year management consulting career where I worked with leaders at all levels of organisations to improve the way their businesses were run.  The industries I worked in included defence, manufacturing, timber, mining, banking, government, railways and air transport, engineering and not-for-profit, to name a few!  I have worked with the large corporate companies, and many businesses in gthe small to medium sector, and I have also run my own small business.

The areas I have worked in include leadership development, training, business process reengineering, organisational restructuring, project management and change management, and IT, so I have a pretty reasonable grip on most aspects of business, and the leadership challenges they present.

Passionate about all aspects of leadership and helping organisations and individuals to develop their leadership potential, I have been a keen student of John Maxwell for a number of years and have used his work to guide my own and my client's leadership practice. I am excited now to partner with The John Maxwell Team and so be able to add the wealth of wisdom and knowledge that John brings to my own knowledge and practice for the benefit of my clients.  I am also a dedicated member of Toastmasters International, and have achieved the highest level within the organisation of Distinguished Toastmaster.  I have just completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Leadership.

I am blessed to have three beautiful daughters who keep me (very) grounded, and also have my wonderful partner, Jill who provides constant love and inspiration.
