I am a 38-year veteran of Emergency Management. I come to the John Maxwell Team with over 25 years of experience as a trainer. As a First Responder to the World Trade Center, on September 11, 2001, I witnessed leadership and courage on a grand scale which impacted my life forever.
I am a retired Deputy Chief of the Jersey City Fire Department, with over 31 years there. As a former Master Instructor for the International Association of Fire Fighters, I taught firefighters and fire officers around the nation. I am a certified Instructor-Trainer through the National Fire Academy and the American Red Cross. I am the former Operations Director and Chair of Curriculum for the Carl Holmes Executive Development Institute where I trained and coached hundreds of Emergency Management Officers to become Executive Officers. I have been blessed to travel and train all over the world.
I am, currently, the Executive Director of the Fire Officer Trust where I coach First Responder / Law Enforcement Officers and Emergency Management Leaders in their command roles and responsibilities during large-scale emergencies.
I am a frequent keynote speaker and panelist on a variety of topics, from Leadership and Emergency Management to the current Opioid Crisis. I seek to share and grow together as leaders and managers.
I joined the John Maxwell Team because of the body of work and impact John Maxwell's teaching and lectures have had on my life. I am a certified D.I.S.C. Behavioral Personality Trainer, in the John Maxwell Method. I am here to combine the tried and true principles of John Maxwell and my leadership training to add value to other people's lives.
