I've been reading or listening to John Maxwell's leadership material for more than 20 years. I belive that leadership can and should exist at all levels of an organization and that leadership is a skill to be learned. All leaders should desire growth. If we aren't growing we aren't able to impact those around us. I became a member of the John Maxwell Team in 2014 beause I wanted to grow personally and be a catalyst of growth and leadership development. My desire is to help others GROW so they can more effectively LEAD and ultimately IMPACT others.
While my educational background is in chemical engineering, my professional experience and personal development have solely focused on developing leaders and facilitating dialogue since 1996. In 2005, I started my own consulting business where I serve clients with a variety of needs in the areas of developing leaders, facilitating dialogue, and resolving conflict. I love to design and facilitate public engagement processes, work with leadership teams to improve communications and productivity, and develop and deliver training programs that focus on life skills in the areas of leadership, communication, and conflict resolution. I work in the public sector, private sector and with not-for-profit organizations. I also work with individuals, one on one, to further their professional development and realize their personal goals.
