Prior to joining the Maxwell Team, I worked for 25 years in corporate America. From a humble start as a mail room clerk, I worked my way up to senior leadership and executive positions in diverse sectors, including high tech, banking and finance, communications, human services, philanthropy, and education. In 1995, I founded Jazz, Inc., my consulting and coaching company, which is devoted to partnering with leaders to maximize their strengths, community stewardship, and growth. Since 2002, I have been blessed to be mentored by John Maxwell. I teach his leadership and personal growth materials in the organizations in which I serve and in my church. As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher, and Speaker, I offer leadership forums, executive coaching, strategy consulting, and retreat facilitation.
An award-winning, inspirational speaker, I offer keynotes on personal transformation, values-based leadership, legacy, and other themes from my best-selling book Legacy Living. I teach these and other subjects, including systems and design thinking, at the University of Washington, Bainbridge Graduate Institute, and Seattle University.
