I have over 50 years of successful executive leadership experience in private industry and in the Senior Executive Service (SES) of the United States Government. I have served as Vice President of New Product Research & Development, Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Sales, President and Chief Executive Officer of $150-$500 million dollar companies.  With the Federal Government I served in the Department of Commerce as Chief of the Census Bureau’s Field Division and as Associate Director of the Decennial Census programs managing a $15.6 billion dollar program and exercised leadership over 15,000 permanent federal employees and indirect leadership over 350,000 temporary staff.  

I have a BA and MBA from DePaul University and I am a certified professional life coach.  I served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army commanding company and battalion size units. 

Over my career I  have been personally responsible for coaching and mentoring hundreds of developing managers and leaders.
