As an Executive Director of The John Maxwell Team, I am certified to facilitate, speak, train and coach individuals and groups in the areas of leadership development, professional skills and personal growth. Trained and mentored by John Maxwell and mentors of his world-class faculty, I am equipped with the tools, resources and experience to help you and your team improve your productivity, performance and profitability. Whether you are looking for a facilitator for group workshops, corporate training in leadership, speaking, sales, or coaching skills for your leaders, or a speaker for your next event, I have access to exclusive content that is only available through a certified Executive Director of the John Maxwell Team to help you reach your goals and objectives.
I started Crossroads Coaching and Career Counseling, L.L.C. in 2011, where my mission is to use my creativity, passion, candor, and humor to help leaders impact lives and grow their businesses. I am passionate about helping people discover and work in their strengths. I am a proponent of abundance thinking – sharing whatever is available for the success of all. My goal-oriented outlook on life and my sincere desire to help others reach their goals led me to join the John Maxwell Team.
I am a certified DiSC facilitator and trainer and Neurolinguistic trainer. I am amazed by the power of our brains and the process of thoughts and suggestions. I use my life experiences and challenges to help others realize the power of thoughts and behaviors. Using DiSC to understand behavior types has helped me interact and understand others as well as myself.
I hold a dual Masters Degree in Vocational Counseling and Evaluation from the University of Arizona and have completed a Masters program in Adult Education. Prior to joining the John Maxwell Team, I was employed as a career counselor and transition coordinator for a school district for 22 years, working with individuals with disabilities by assisting them in determining their strengths and connecting them with appropriate post-secondary opportunities. While serving in that capacity, I also wrote and received several grants totaling more than a million dollars, which were used to create new programs and services to aid in the workplace skills development of at-risk students with disabilities. In addition, I was employed as a team coach for the Arizona Department of Education’s Professional Development Leadership Academy where I assisted faculty from Arizona's school districts to define focused goals for student achievement.
As a single mother, I have refined strategies for balancing my personal and professional responsibilities. Of all my accomplishments, I am most proud of my two sons, Will, a wild land fuels specialist with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and Bryan, a police officer. My greatest source of happiness are my grandsons, Ben and TJ.
I believe everyone can achieve success. I would like to help you reach your full potential and purpose in life through an intentional plan of development. Working together through accountability, we can create positive and profitable change, improve productivity, and create the atmosphere that is necessary for effective personal and professional growth and goal attainment.
