I have served as a classroom teacher, counselor, adjunct faculty, assistant principal, dean of instruction and principal. During my principalships, I have been recognized for improving school performance and developing innovative programs. I have coached teachers and leaders while leading campuses to earn TEA recognized status and Distinction Designations in Closing the Achievement Gap and English Language Arts. During my first principalship I began to look for resources to help me progress our campus forward. Since my passion was then as well as now, leadership development, I was driven to read the work of #1 New York Times Best Selling Author, John Maxwell. My professional goal was to be a part of his team.
