It is my desire to see individuals grow and develop in some realm of leadership. This was cultivated in me as a teenager. Leadership was seen, developed, and cultivated in me at an early age allowing me to lead my peers all four years of high school. I lead individuals while in the military for a time as well. When my career led me to the human services field, in less than six months I was promoted to a leadership role. This afforded me the opportunity to serve and lead and take the leadership skills that I was taught to the next level.

My over 15 years of ministerial service outlined opportunities to teach, speak and instruct. Leading individuals in their faith and in their personal as well as professional endeavors is a direct reflection of how Maxwell Leadership flows. The success in this comes from the willingness to serve and the willingness to succeed. It was during this time that I was exposed to the leadership of Dr. Myles Munroe and John Maxwell. John Maxwell’s “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership” became a part of my leadership DNA and a constant resource to my success as a leader.

In recent years my desire to do more to impact others in the realm of leadership caused the desire to pursue further education for myself but to also be a part of something that is transformational. For 2 years the Maxwell Leadership journey would come up while pursuing further education. I decided, going into 2023 that it was time to shift into this journey and become a part of Maxwell Leadership.
