An award-winning public speaker, and published author, I also hold a Life Coaching Certificate from the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology, a BA (Indiana Wesleyan), and an MA in Math (Ohio State) plus the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation from Toastmasters International. In addition, I'm a certified Stephen Ministry lay counselor. As a lifelong teacher, I believe learning happens in the classroom or the boardroom, on the park bench, or in a pew. Seven years of classroom teaching and 30+ years of Department of Defense service have provided me with ample teaching, coaching, and mentoring opportunities.
