I am a dedicated, transformational leader. I meet people where they are and help them grow to where they can best serve. I am an also educator who: (1) fosters a safe learning environment where participants are empowered to embrace and use new knowledge, skills and abilities; (2) evaluates the effectiveness of the transfer of learning; and (3) motivates learners to pursue further development. 

For over two decades, I have helped staff grow into confident supervisors, capable managers, and effective executives. I have accomplished this by leading with compassion. Additionally, I strive to model the behaviors and attitudes that I teach. This includes becoming a competent communicator through membership in Toastmasters International, where I am a founding member and officer of a corporate Club. It is a privilege to mentor others seeking to improve their public speaking and leadership skills. 

John’s teachings have served as content for some of the key leadership development courses that I have taught since 1999. Yet, it was the introduction by a trainer of a course that I attended 20 years later, a faculty member of John’s team, that really caught my attention. I wondered how I could align myself with this community but then moved through life as usual. I was developing others but neglecting my own desire for complete fulfillment. That changed when I became a member of this team and I am extremely grateful for this opportunity.
