Matt Campbell is a communicator and leader who enjoys helping others enhance their influence and impact. His gift for adding value to people is admired by many and has helped Matt to consistently be recognized as a key player at the Georgia Capitol. For nearly 25 years, Matt has served a wide array of organizations as an accomplished advocate producing a strong track record of success. His extensive list of well-established relationships throughout the business and political arenas is a testament to his positive influence.
Matt and wife Chrissy live in Savannah, Georgia and will mark twenty years of marriage this November. They have three children, their daughter Mary Kathryn, oldest son Tristan, and their sweet Michael in Heaven. Matt is a native Savannahian and lifelong fan of the back-to-back national champion Georgia Bulldogs. He is a proud Alumnus of Kennesaw State University where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Political Science and minored in Leadership Studies. Matt is an active volunteer with several different organizations. His passion for service shines bright and in March of 2020, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp appointed Matt to the Georgia Commission for Service and Volunteerism (Georgia Serves).
Matt currently serves as State Legislative Director for SMART Transportation, Founder & CEO of both Georgia Matters LLC and The Conductor LLC. He is an active volunteer serving as Board Chairman for Georgia SERVES, CEO of the Michael C. Harte Foundation, Board member of the Georgia Professional Lobbyist Association, and Rail Accident Investigator with the National Transportation Safety Board.
