As a former teacher, principal, and most recently superintendent of schools (2002-2017), I have a wealth of leadership experience. My formal education background includes a Doctoral Degree from Lehigh University in Educational Leadership, a Master's Degree in the same field from Villanova Universtiy, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rosemont College, where I majored in Art History and Education. In addition, I am a Certified Health and Wellness Coach through the Dr. Sear's Wellness Institute. My career in education has been marked by many accomplishments, of which I am very proud. For example, I am a past recipient of the Athena Award through the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce, and was named "Outstanding Superintendent of the Year" by the the Pennsylvania Music Education Association. I was the recipient of the Ave Maria Award from my high school, Notre Dame High School, in Easton, PA, as "Outstanding Educator." I have always been an active leader and learner who values people. In my local community, I am involved in the Lebanon Rotary Club (Paul Harris Fellow), and the Lebanon YMCA as a Board Member. In addition, I am part of the Better Together Lebanon Initiative, the Advisory Council for the Pro-Wellness Committee with Hershey Medical Center and Penn State, Delta Kappa Gamma, the Chamber of Commerce, the Lebanon Valley Council on the Arts, as well as the Philadelphia Art Museum. I am an advocate for our youth, and serve on Making A Difference Lebanon as a member of the arts and education committee. I support and encourage lifelong learning for all.
