I had been a fan of John’s books on leadership and personal development for many years, and as the owner of a small business, I was always encouraging my staff to pursue personal and professional development, but….I did not have anything to offer or steer them towards to help them on that path.

I have spent the past 39 years as a small business owner, working in and on my company and our most valuable asset, our team members. I know well what it is like to have to constantly be putting out “fires” and being so caught up in day to day “challenges” that I often forgot to look and plan ahead. It wasn’t until I realized that my time was best spent in personal and professional development that my company started running more smoothly, growing, and we were able to add value to both our employees and customers lives.
