I am a highly successful entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in leadership ranging from for profits to non-profits to internet-based businesses with many having faith-based overtones. I possess the unique ability to claim successful businesses in small rural towns and large cities alike. With a track record of laying the groundwork for business growth and vitality, several of my businesses have lasted far beyond the average and many exist today decades after they were founded.
As a result of this varied background, I have also enjoyed a fundamental role in developing leadership education and cutting-edge mentoring in several institutions of higher education as well. In fact, in several cases I was called in to develop a program that was relevant to the "real" needs of the "learning" leader. All of these programs have become known for their practical application to theory and my role was to hold each leader's feet to the fire to produce results in what is a non-profit and for profit environment.
As my background with for profit and non-profit attest and the results testify, I have been teaching and coaching the "spirit" of the 12 core business strategies by Chet Holmes and The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John C. Maxwell for over 44 years in the church, para-church and business communities along with numerous additional John C. Maxwell leadership training programs sprinkled in between.
Being a long time speaker and trainer in a wide variety of environments and an even wider variety of cultures has brought me much joy. I have coached leaders worldwide in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Dominican Republic, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, South Africa and Mexico – in leadership and business principles.
I just recently completed the Dominicana Se Transforma trip to Santo Domingo Dominican Republic with John Maxwell himself which we taught 26,000 government, political and business leaders how to lead tables for the purpose of teaching values specifically designed by John Maxwell and the leaders of the Dominican Republic.
My clients have ranged from the leading industrial cleaning agency in the greater Los Angeles area, El Gato Painting and Restoration in Sunnyvale Ca. to clients claiming over a billion in total revenue with Daytona Motor Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida being one of my favorites.
I came to the John Maxwell Founding Members program as a natural extension of church, para-church and business training and on-going mentoring through Azusa Pacific University, Houston Graduate School of Theology and Sarver Consulting Group and am now joint with my son, David Sarver to form and extension of the Sarvercorp reach to all over the USA.
I am an accomplished triathlete with a half ironman finish, countless Olympic and sprint distance finishes to my credit as late as winter 2021 along with 21 marathons.
