As a Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker, I can offer you workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods. Working together, I will move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals.
As an Educational Leader, I was often exposed to John Maxwell’s books about leadership and learning through professional development opportunities and coursework. I allowed his wisdom and lessons to guide my thinking and my practice as an administrator in my early career as an Assistant Principal and Principal serving in the School District of Palm Beach County. After completing my Doctorate in Leadership, Management and Policy at Seton Hall University, I became the Director of Charter Schools, overseeing 41 schools with over 11,000 students.
During this time, I also experienced John’s teachings personally and first hand while attending Christ Fellowship in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, where John is an Associate Pastor. One of the messages in John’s sermon in July of 2013 led me to apply for a position in North Texas, where I served for 6 years as an Assistant Superintendent. In June of 2018 and August of 2020, I received the Administrator of the Year award in my district, nominated and voted on by all district employees. I currently serve as the Chief Academic Officer for Pecos Bartow Toyah ISD.
I am passionate about finding and developing “the leader” in all; colleagues, adults, students, and my own children, who make every day a blessing. I believe in the notion of “lifelong learning” and I am committed to serving others in this mission.
