Since my late teens, I’ve made personal & professional growth a cornerstone of my life. Continuous learning and growing has provided me with many, many opportunities. Because I know it to be so powerful, I’ve always included an element of professional growth into my leadership during my 20-year career of leading teams.
From 2021-2022 I had the opportunity to help teams outside of my organization. I found that the skills I was practicing with my own teams could help people in different organizations navigate challenges and grow in their organizations. During that time, I was also able to see the workforce change dramatically. Professional growth strategies are needed now more than ever. As long-time employees exit and take their leadership experience with them, a new generation of managers and leaders need to be developed.
In 2022, I joined the Maxwell Certified Team as a way to increase my skills and make professional growth services available to individuals and businesses. Now I help individuals who want to take their professional growth into their own hands fulfill their potential as leaders in their organizations. I also help businesses who want to develop and retain the employees they’ve worked so hard to attract and hire.
When I am not helping individuals and businesses improve their performance and get better results, I apply my leadership skills to initiatives that improve my local community. My most important initiative, however, is raising three kids with my husband, Brock. When we aren’t working or helping in the community, you will find us walking our dogs along the Erie Canal.
