I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications-Broadcast Journalism. I worked as a reporter for talk radio, an NPR affiliate, and as a television news reporter in Florida prior to relocating to California to work as an Assistant Editor for an international magazine. For the past 21 years I have worked in Finance and Healthcare, educating and training hundreds of individuals. I have publicly spoken to various types of organizations, from churches to healthcare entities to tribal councils.

I lived a life filled with shame until my 40’s. This was in response to the sexual abuse I survived as a small child. I was introduced to drugs at age 10. That began a journey of self-medicating and self-loathing that lasted decades, and involved drug abuse, promiscuity, and alcoholism. When I finally summoned the courage to get sober, I plunged into the Emergency phase of PTSD, reliving the horror of my childhood. Thankfully, I got connected with a wonderful Christian counselor who was instrumental in my recovery. Through a lot of hard work and faith, I was healed of my wounds and my shame. I learned my value and purpose. I have been a Women’s Leader in the church for almost nine years, helping them to find their true identity in Christ and begin living out their purpose. I am also a leader in the Wellness community, teaching Hot Yoga. I am a leader in medical sales as well, earning the Top Performer Award by serving physicians and their patients. I live to serve others.

I enjoy speaking to businesses and professional organizations as well as church groups and women's conferences.
