I am a full-time professional Entertainer and an active member of Toastmasters International. In August 2011, I competed in the World Championship of Public Speaking Semi Finals and was one of 82 remaining out of 30,000 contestants and 260,000 Toastmasters worldwide.
In 2005, I started ThatGuyRocks.com as a small entertainment company DJ'ing kid's events as a part-time job just for the fun. In 2008, after more than a decade at a fortune 50 company working in the sales and marketing department, I was laid off like many other Americans. I did what many others would do, I made my part-time job my full-time job.
In 2010, I entertained at more than 175 events as a Speaker, MC and Karaoke host. I come alive by participating in every crowd. Whether entertaining twenty-one seven-year old girls for a birthday party, speaking to 500 college graduates, stretching the comfort zone of 400 employees at a corporate Karaoke Team Building Event, bantering with 30,000 muddy runners at the Warrior Dash, or coaching a Dale Carnegie Course, I love to create an atmosphere that encourages group participation.
My newest book "Live A More Excellent Life" will challenge to you drive harder toward your own vision, awaken the dreams you laid to rest and leave a legacy the IRS cannot touch. This message is not a magic pill formula to get all you want out of life, but a painstaking process that will remove the fog and disillusionment of the past than light a fire in the passions of your own heart.
