I not only bring years of experience, but also offer the additional benefit of having a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I am a Certified Executive Coach, a Registered Corporate Coach and a Founding Member of John Maxwell’s Coaching and Speaking Program.
I have written four books and numerous articles on the effective use of personal and team energy. My most-recent books are The Power of Personal Energy and The Secret Power in Stress. I was twice nominated for Author of the Year by GAYA, one of the most prestigious literary awards in the nation, and the oldest in the Southeastern United States. I was also awarded The Readers Favorite Award in 2003 and 2004 by the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association International.

In 1976, I was ordained as a Southern Baptist Minister and served as Assistant Pastor at Summer Grove Baptist Church in Shreveport, La. I also taught Pastoral Counseling for the New Orleans Baptist Seminary at their satellite campus in Shreveport.
Most importantly, I am blessed to be married to my lovely wife, Jinger. We have five sons and seven grandsons. /p>
